Default Format of verse or text note numbers

In the Browse window, the verse numbers and translation text note numbers are both superscript numbers in the same font and color. This makes them hard to distinguish at a glance. I don't find any options to change the color or format of either one. But does anyone know if there is a (perhaps undocumented) option in one of the .ini files to change either one? I don't really care what colors they are, or if one is bold and the other is not. Or maybe one is a superscript and the other a subscript. Just so they are different.

I am not aware of any automatic way to deal with this annoyance.

What I sometimes do is toggle the notes off to make the verse breaks obvious. Turning the notes off does not disable them -- mousing over the verse will still display any notes in the Analysis Tab. And it's easy to toggle on and off -- either "n" shortcut if last click was in Browse Window, or double-click on "TrNotes" in the status bar at the bottom of the main window.

Thanks, Jim! I have thought toggling off the notes, but didn't realize I could do that on the status bar. That is easier. I thought I had to go the Browse Window Options menu, which is an extra step. I also hadn't discovered that I could still access the notes with the numbers turned off. (I have my BW configured to not update the Analysis tab contents unless I middle-click my mouse in the Browse Window, so I don't see it change unless I intend it to.)
