Unable to install on Macbook Air 2020 (M1 chip)

I tried to install BW on my new Macbook Air 2020 with the M1 chip. When I tried to install it, I got an error message that it could not be installed because the developer cannot be verified. I'm not sure if there is a solution to this.

I discovered a workaround for this issue. There are a couple of ways to solve the problem, so I'm providing a link to the internet article. This is the MacPaw website and you will be politely asked to purchase their software, but you can decline and still view the article.

I was able to get past the intial refusal to open, but then the app crashed. I'm still working on that. Error Message: BibleWorks quit unexpectedly.

I didn't get it to install on M1 either, but I managed to install it before on an Intel Mac. You can download my bottle with the installation (not activated, so hope you have some serial number) here:

Thanks for your help. I had to install Parallels for another Windows program I needed to use, so I installed BW on the Parallels side.

Just a note about that. Parallels now has a version that works on the M1 Chip, but once installed, you can only install a Beta copy of Windows 10 ARM Pro. The recommended free software to install a virtual iso drive will not run on the Windows 10 ARM Pro. I had to purchase another virtual clone drive called Power ISO, which cost $29.95.

The installation went without a hitch after that.
