    Dear Jim,
Is it possible to send me the patch? My wife gave me a new computer and I would like to copy BW 7 onto it. I am licensed and use it for sermon prep as well as Bible Study. Your help would be appreciated. I realize that the dinosaur BW7 is hard to repair. Thanks in advance, one way or the other. Fred Sisson P.S. - If necessary, I can receive via normal email.

    Hi Fred,

"now john", in the #8 entry above in this thread, provided a link to download the patch, and instructions on how to decrypt it.
Today I tried both the links in that post. Both the patch download and the link to BW KnowledgeBase instructions on how to use it worked for me.

It is possible that you need to use 7-zip (a free, very useful program) to extract/decrypt it. You can download 7-zip here: https://www.7-zip.org/

If you cannot get now john's link to work, describe the problem here; if necessary, send me a private message at this forum giving your email address. E-mail systems do not allow attachments that are .exe files -- they assume they are viruses, so I would have to send it encrypted (using 7-zip to encrypt it) and you would have to unzip/decrypt it the same way as now john's file.
If you do send me a private message please say so in a forum post -- I ordinarily only log on when I am replying to a post.
