Activation codes no longer work

I'm a BW10 user.
My desktop crashed and I had to reinstall.
None of the activationcodes I had written down are accepted.
I also have BW10 on my laptop.
Can you tell me if, where, and how to access them from my other computer?

Run BW as an administrator on the laptop. In the main menu click on File, then Activate Database. I am doing this from memory and don't remember if the Activation Manager appears now. If not, open it. Find Options. There will be an option to save the codes to a file. Copy that file to the desktop and use it to activate BW.

In the same situation, recently I found out you can link your microsoft account to activate, which was never made clear before, so I just activated with a old limited code my friend had given me that I didn't know was limited, but now I can't activate it with an account because I activated with a different code before
