    Default Activation Code

    I'm a BW10 user.
My desktop crashed and I had to reinstall.
None of the activation codes I had written down are accepted.
I also have BW10 on my laptop.
Can you tell me if, where, and how to access them from my other computer?

Run BW as an administrator on the laptop. In the main menu click on File, then Activate Database. I am doing this from memory and don't remember if the Activation Manager appears now. If not, open it. Find Options. There will be an option to save the codes to a file. Copy that file to the desktop and use it to activate BW.

    Default Activation Code File

NowJohn is on the right track. When you have opened BibleWorks, click on FILE, then on ACTIVATE DATABASE. That will open the Activation Manager window. Near the bottom of that window you should find a button labeled OPTIONS. Click that button to reveal a small menu with the selections "Restore activation codes from backup file", "Save activation codes to backup file" and "Add new activation code".

On the computer on which BibleWorks is still running, access that menu and choose the option to "Save activation codes...". Set the target to an external drive, such as a USB drive. When that has completed, move that drive to the other computer. Then, during the installation process, when prompted for the activation codes, point to the file on the USB drive.

It is hoped that this information will serve to be helpful, and bring about a successful result.
