Well my question is either so basic that no one feels it's worthy of a response or no one know how or if it can be done.

I found out how to do the parallel version window but see no tools to allow for highlighting that follows across the versions.

I think there are just very few people come here unless one has a question like yourself. In many forums, the number of views often does not really reflect the number of people clicking into a thread. Often, the system just increases the number just to make the traffic looks busy.

Anyway, I am not aware of a way to do what you asked.

The YouTube you cite shows Accordance.
It uses something akin to Strong's numbers to link the different texts.

BibleWorks does not have an equivalent function. While it has many translations, and does have some tagged with Strong's numbers, BW's emphasis has always been on making the original language texts accessible.

I would point out that Accordance's cross-version highlighting is based on someone tagging each translation, which involves the tagger making judgement calls.
