BW10 Crash

I may need to reload BW10 to stop it from crashing when I have my HALOT reference up.

1. I will hover over a Hebrew word,
2. Click the word on the HALOT summary side.
3. 50% of the time, after it comes up for a few minutes, BW10 will go down and of course the reference will go down also.

Any work I've done (tabs, etc) are gone and I have to start over,
I've tried rolling back to an init file from Aug 2018 but that does not seem to take care of the problem.

QUESTION:
Is there a special procedure to go through to avoid loosing my activation when I re-install?
Should I uninstall completely and then re-install?

My BW10 on win 10 pro is crashing a lot as well. It usuallyhappens when I open the Lexicon widow or the NT diagram module. It is sporadicand has not been happening as often as the OP.

Have you tried anything to fix it?
I have tried a couple of things.
1) I tried rolling back the ini file.
2) I tried to do a repair (with the original download files.)
Neither worked.

For right now,

Go to File, Checkpoints, Restore/Delete Checkpoint

Pick/highlight 10.0.8.667 or earlier.

Hit Restore the selected checkpoint.

It will restore your BW10 to an earlier last good version.

PS Had to do this myself after moving up to 10.0.8.710.

For right now,

I went back to 10.0.8.667 and it is still crashing some. It is not crashing as frequently as it was but still doing it.

Any chance of a fix for this crashing problem? I moved back to build 667 but found the problem still occurred with the LSJM lexicon browser open so returned to 710. That seemed to help for the first couple days, but the bug still exists.
