Can you also explain how to export the Greek text of an entire Bible version or of a specific Bible book (e.g. the Gospel of Matthew) into a Word file?

Open BW. Click on Tools in the main menu in the upper left hand corner of the page, then Importing/Exporting Information, then Export Database. If you do it often, you may want to add the "Export Bible Text to File" icon to the main tool bar that is below the menu options.

Choose the version. Select the portion that you want to export. If you want the entire version, just click on Reset Range.

Choose the other features that you want to export and click OK.

    Save as type: Text

Reminder: Before you export change the Export Font to Arial

The text file will appear like this verse from m-01a when you open the text file in Word.

Mat 1:1 Βιβλος γενεσεως Ι̅Υ̅ Χ̅Υ̅ υιου Δ̅Α̅Δ̅ υιου Αβρααμ

From the main menu Help > BibleWorks help contents > Index
    then search for export
then Export Options > "Exporting Large Sections of Bible Text" gives a more complete explanation.

When I export a specified range of verses, full verse references (book name, chapter, and verse numbers) are included in the text. Is it possible to preserve only verse numbers in superscript, the way texts look in the Browse Window of the program?

I believe that the only formatting options for large sections of exported text are those mentioned in this section of the help file: Exporting Large Sections of Bible Text. The font can also be changed.

If you want to copy smaller portions, then you have a broader range of formatting options for the copied text.
