    Default reinstall help....please.

My Mac was wiped clean at the Apple store in order to repair it. But first I downloaded everything to an external drive.

I am now trying to reinstall BW, and in doing just learned that BW is...gone?

I am asking for help to get my BibleWorks software from my external hard drive and onto my computer in a usable format. I see the 'spot' on the website where it explains this. But apparently I am unable to understand it enough to pull it off. I am currently getting “Initialization Failure - CrossOver is unable to initialize a critical component."

Could somebody walk me through it? Please?

    Thank you,

First of all, are you using the ISO file from
    Read this post:
It contains this important line: If you do a BW10 reinstall after July 24, 2018 you should do it from the ISO, not old media.
The ISO must be mounted as a drive or the files in it extracted to a folder for the setup.exe contained in it to install BW successfully.

If that works, you can copy all of your user created files from your hard drive.

That is where you need to begin. As you do the process carefully record what you do so that what you have done could be reported back to the forum for more help.

Have you considered using the Mac installer instead? You would still need to download the ISO and use a Mac installer.
