    Default "Final" download version?

Hello all. When we received the termination notification I thought mention was made of releasing some sort of final version (although patches would continue for some time). Am I mis-recollecting that or did I miss the notice?

    Thanks for any reply.

This file has been posted. See this thread. Go to the BibleWorks home page (bibleworks.com), and scroll down to the Downloads section. It's the BibleWorks 10 Installation Files (ISO file). It's a huge download; some thoughts on that are in this thread.

I don't understand this either. I have Bibkleworks 10 since it first hit the market a few years ago and was ungraded from v9. Ive actually upgrading since v7. Since I have the v10 flash drive and all my act. codes and numbers, why do I need this ISO? Do I need to download it or is what I have all I need for future (in case I get a new pc and need to install new)?

If you have a BibleWorks installation that is currently updated and working, you do not need the ISO. But if you need to make a fresh installation of BibleWorks you must use the ISO.

I have the original BibleWorks10rev1.iso. It used to be that you could use that to reinstall BibleWorks and then go online and download updates to bring the installation to BibleWorksrev6. (The current revision). The updates to do that no longer exist. They cannot be downloaded. The only way to have BibleWorks10rev6 on your system is to use the BibleWorksrev6.iso. After installing that if there are any updates, they may be downloaded and installed in the usual way.

An illustration: It used to be that you could cross a certain river on any one of six bridges. The first five have been removed. Now it can only be crossed by using the sixth bridge. If you are already on the other side of the river you don't need any bridges at all. But if in the future you need to start over again, only the sixth bridge exists to cross the river.

Thanks. I understand For future installations on new pc I will need to download, at some time, the ISO on a flash drive and use that one to install.

The ISO can also be downloaded to a drive on the computer or to any external hard drive if there is room. If it is downloaded to the computer it will be installed on there must be room for the both the ISO and the BibleWorks folder where it will be installed and enough more than that for the computer to function normally.

Just like you, I have no idea what's going on here. I've been using Bibkleworks 10 from its initial release a few years back, and I never upgraded from v9. Since version 7, I have been using the most recent version. If I already have the v10 flash drive with all my act. codes and numbers, then what use is this ISO? When I obtain a new computer, will I need to download it again, or will the one I already have suffice?
