Default Downloading BibleWorks 10 Installation Files (ISO file) - 22GB file tooooooo large

    Referring to https://drive.google.com/uc?export=d...ntmG8jfcRxU2ha

BibleWorks 10 Installation Files (ISO file)
(installation requires activation code purchased before July 1, 2018)
    Version BW10rev6, posted 2018-07-16
File size: 22 GB (23,994,171,392 bytes)

Has anyone been able to download this file yet? I have been trying for two days but because of its huge size, 22GB, the downloads keep failing. The most recent attempt started last night and after about sixteen hours, it has stopped at 19.8GB. If anyone from BibleWorks is reading, PLEASE post this in multiple smaller files that can later be unzipped into a single file OR PLEASE make this installable using a few smaller files that interface with each other. 22GB is too large for a home network to handle.

    Thank you,
    Joe

    Hi Joe,

You will want to use a download manager to get the whole file. This will help with networks that may be a little slow, or have connection problems. The BibleWorks knowledge base has some recommendations for download managers to use for Windows and for Mac. Go to the Knowledge base from the main BibleWorks page, then search on "download manager" to see Knowledge Base articles that provide this information.

    Blessings,

I used this download link https://sourceforge.net/projects/xdm...atest/download to download xdmsetup-2018 download manager.msi

I installed it and then tested it by downloading several files from the internet. I wanted to make sure I knew how it worked before I tried downloading the BW installation file.

If you would like specific instructions, post back and I will give the steps I followed.

It has the ability to restart a broken download, so even with a poor connection you should eventually be able to complete the download.

After it is successful, it is a good idea to run BWCheckDisk.exe to confirm that the download completed correctly.

Thank you; I just tried FlashGet 3.7 and got the following message (poor grammar and all) "Tips: Sorry, the protocol is not support now.". I will try a different download manager.

I've been using Internet Download Manager for years.

    http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/

It costs money but it's second to none.

Wink I found one that worked for me

Thank you everyone, I was able to download using http://xdman.sourceforge.net/ There is a lot of clutter on the screen but I just used "File >> Add URL" and about sixteen hours later the download was complete.

Maybe you should make a Torrent for the people, then they can help out as well with sharing it for others, hosting it after they have downloaded it if they want. Just an idea, anyway. But it is a rather big file to say the least
