Help! My Laptop and copy of Bibleworks 10 were stolen last week
I pastor a small church and have relied on Bibleworks almost daily for the past 12 years like many of you do. Last Thursday, July 19, 2018, someone walked into the church office and stole my laptop computer and all my flash drives from my laptop carry case including the reinstall thumb drive for Bibleworks. I need some help. I bought Bibleworks 6.0 maybe 13 years ago about the time I left seminary, later I upgraded to 8.0 and then to 10.0. Everything I had was fully upgraded and up to date as of last week, but now I have nothing and seemingly no way to contact anyone at Bibleworks about it. If anyone knows how I can get a reinstall drive from the company please let me know. Even a way to contact them would really help. The website just has the letter saying they don't support the product anymore and the phone number refers everyone here. I left a voicemail for them despite the message that nobody would respond to it. Somehow I think they would help me out if they knew what happened, but I can't even let them know without a valid contact. I have filed a police report with the local police department so my situation is verifiable as well as the company surely having records of my past purchases and updating. The chance of getting anything that was stolen returned to me is very unlikely since it was probably just deleted in order to be sold. Even if this request can be passed to Bibleworks by any of you that would be great, I don't know if anyone can contact them or not. Any help would be really appreciated, I'm pretty badly handicapped for work without this program that I have used constantly for over a decade. Blessings ...
In Christ,
Pastor David Zimmermann

If you have your activation codes filed away somewhere, you should be able to download BW10 (see this thread: and be back in business on your new computer.

Do you have any backup of anything on the laptop? Do you have another computer that has BW on it? Did you make a paper copy of the email that was sent to you when you upgraded BW? It will have the activation codes.

The file for download is on there page as one has pointed out - I would think you should be able to install it again and get you up and running if your codes was not lost as well.
I downloaded the file - but have no codes - I'm still thinking if I should or should not try to get it from the forum, now that the company has mysteries closed down, being one of the top 3 of the greatest Bible programs out on the marked.

I found my activation codes by searching my email inbox, so now I will try to download and install the file you mentioned. Thanks for the help everyone!

So far no success. I have tried twice to download the file. The first time it glitched out somewhere around 6 GB. Last night I tried to leave it downloading, but no file today so I'm not sure what happened.

Hi David,
I suggest using a download manager to download the file. You can search on "download manager" in the BibleWorks Knowledge Base to find some download manager recommendations.

I just tried using FlashGet 3, but unfortunately when I pasted the url into the download form it refused to download and said, "Sorry, the protocol is not support now". I tried FlashGet because it was recommended on the download site. If you have any more ideas let me know.

Hi David,
I haven't tried any of them, but you could try one of the download managers that are on this list:

See post #3 in the thread below for the downloader that worked for me.

I also have some additional hints about the process there.
