I inquired about this soon-to-be latest ISO file when I first received news that BibleWorks was closing a couple months ago. I didn't receive a clear answer to these questions: what happens if a reinstall of BW10 is needed in the future, and one doesn't have access to the internet for activation (but does, have copies of the activation codes themselves).
In other words, is it *absolutely necessary* to have an internet connection (and, for that matter, for the BW website to continue in operation, in order to be accessed for the sake of activation) in order for a future reinstall of BW10 to be completed, say a year or two from now?
What if the BW website ceases to be? What if a person is in a location with the ISO file and activation codes saved, but no access to the internet? Does this newest ISO file take any of this into account? (All I was told from BW support before the close was something like, "We're working on that... Download the newest ISO when it comes out."
Next, can purchased add-on modules (e.g. BDAG / HALOT lexicons) that require activation still be activated in the future, provided we have saved the activation codes?
