    Default BW10 Installation image posted

    Hello, friends!

We've posted an updated BW10 ISO file. I don't advise you download it at this point unless you have lost your installation media. The reason I advise delay is that a) there is no rush to get the file, and b) if people clobber the server (the file is 22GB) it will likely come down and then nobody will be happy, and c) the ISO file will likely be updated again. There is nothing significant that is new in this ISO file if you have kept up with the updates. Furthermore, updates to the EXE continue to be posted in the in-program updaters. If you were up to date on July 24, 2018, don’t get the ISO. If you do a BW10 reinstall after July 24, 2018 you should do it from the ISO, not old media.

The links to the updated ISO file are on the webpage. The ISO file requires you have valid BW10 activation codes to run it. So, don't waste your time downloading it if you don't have legitimate activation codes.

Default Future Installations for BW9 to BW10 users with Modules?

I began with BW9 and Upgraded to BW10. During that process there was an upgrade code to ensure compatibility with older modules (I may not be understaning this correctly). Is there a specific process for future installs for BW9 to BW10 Upgrade users with Modules?

You can install BW10 normally. When you are asked for activation codes enter them. The codes should include one for BW10 that begins BW10- There should also be one that begins UP09- That should activate modules that were included in BW09. You may have other codes if you purchased other modules. The codes for other modules are the same for BW10, BW09, and BW08. That will allow you to use all of your BW09 modules with your new installation of BW10.

Could you post MD5 hashes of the files, so we can make sure we've downloaded versions that aren't corrupted?

Also, would it help to have us mirror the files? I can upload them all to my own Google Drive and post links, and they'd also probably sit well on archive.org somewhere. Just a thought.

    Thanks!

There is file check utility in the installer program. BWCheckDisc.exe It does not use MD5 but a CRC test. Would that be adequate for you? I think that theoretically either check could yield a false positive, but it would be extremely unlikely. Just run the executable and it will generate a pass\fail report for each file in the installer.

The md5 hash of my download of the BibleWorks10rev6.iso was the same: df2034cd43118dcb03126c8d414adbd3,
as were the hashes of the two .dmg files listed in the previous post in this thread by dtrotzjr.

I ran BWCheckDisc.exe on the files and all tested OK.

These are the MD5 hashes of the files contained in the iso:

    Hello,

I have downloaded the ISO as I managed to lost the installation media due to my own error. When I try to run setup.exe I get the following message:

This app can't run on your PC
To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher.

When I try and access the setup through autorun I get the a message that the SETUP.EXE programme cannot run due to incompatibility with 64 bit version of Windows. It suggests contacting the software vendor to ask if a 64 bit version of the program is available.

Can anyone suggest a solution to the problem?

    Every blessing,

    Donald
