Default Fix for crash on startup

The new multi-version search highlighting feature had a bug (now fixed). Unfortunately, for some users, BibleWorks crashes when you start it. To solve this, you can get the new EXE by going to your BibleWorks folder and running the bwupdate.exe application. This will download the most recent EXE which fixes the crash.

    Default What is current version?

I have 10.0.5.174 installed. When I run Check for Updates, nothing comes up. Should there be an update after this one?

Curiously, when I tell my v. 10.0.5.226 to check for updates, it finds none, either recommended or optional.

Mine was as 10.0.5.245, and BW found no updates. I ran bwupdate.exe, and BW now tells me it is at 10.0.5.246.

Is this the new way to keep up to date?

I am still on BibleWorks version 10.0.5.218 and when I click open the help drop down window and then go to updates no updates are shown?

I just checked. The new highlighting feature was causing crashes so we have pulled the EXE update until we get it fixed... Hopefully it won't be long.
