    4. BibleWorks will start. Go to View | Scaling and adjust the zoom. BibleWorks will restart.

    How does it look?
Much Better! Thanks! Didn't have to try Steps 5 and beyond.

John, it looks like you need a newer EXE. Can you please delete your INI file (start BW with the Shift key held down)? Then please apply the newest EXE update.

Thanks, I cannot get to the update section in tools. Is there another way to get to the update screen?

Yes, please go to Help | Check for updates.

If you successfully apply the EXE update and still have trouble, please try this:

    1. Start BW with the Shift key held down.
    2. Start BW and UNCHECK BibleWorks | Enable High-resolution Mode
    3. In the Troubleshooting Window, select the Delete BW1000.INI file option.
    4. Click the Perform button.

    Default A Note on Scaling

Not all scales are equal. This isn't really an issue for me, but just an interesting observation. I export blocks of the ESV into Notability so I can do my discourse analysis in that tool. As a quick starter, I've formatted most of the conjunctions, etc. with a bold typeface so I can quickly break lines in Notability. That said, there are only a few scaling views that actually do a good job of showing the bold typeface in Bibleworks when using the Retina displays. I've decided to set my display at 200, since it seems to handle the bold typeface the best without making other icons too large.

Hey on my retina Macbook, fwiw, I'm using the latest patch with bw10 (still waiting for the production retina version), and at scaling 100, the filter dialog box is very tiny, and the status bar text at the bottom is very tiny.

Hoping the production retina version will work great at 100 scaling.

Finally got home. Deleted the ini file. Everything back to normal. Looks good.

Are you using the MCW 10-25 dmg build? The MCW 10-19 build? It should be fine in either one...
