BibleWorks has recently acquired Clippy^®, the Office Assistant, that was featured in versions 97 to 2003 of Microsoft Office^®. We are pleased to integrate this technology into the BibleWorks help system of context sensitive help using the F1 key and the How-To Videos available through the Help menu.

Exclusively for BibleWorks, Clippy^® has become a new, friendly and helpful character named Scrollie^®. Scrollie® will popup just when you need him to assist you in your study process using BibleWorks.

Missed the "April Fools" aspect because, due to the time differences between Australia and the USA, it was listed as being posted on April 2, at 1:23AM.

That is all right, however, because I always turned Microsoft's helper "off". Very annoying thing it was.

My heart did sink a bit when I saw the headline that BW had purchased it. Glad it was only a prank.

Of course, in relation to April Fools Day, Proverbs 26:18-19 comes to mind:
