    Default Papyrus transcriptions

Although I don't know if this will be used directly by BibleWorks, this is really cool: IGNTP has released transcriptions of the papyri for the Gospel of John here. The transcriptions are available by a Creative Commons copyright too, which is nice.

I'm not 100% sure what BibleWorks' order of operations is though. Although you can already find transcriptions of the papyri in the Comfort-Barrett module, I believe it's BibleWorks' goal not just to release transcriptions, but to release transcriptions in tandem with images if at all possible. So even though they could quickly add papyri to their manuscripts project, I think (but don't know) that they're waiting till they have secured images of them too (which is the really difficult part about their project). Furthermore, although the IGNTP project website has good stuff on it, it only shows the Gospel of John even if the papyri contain more than that in them.

    But still. Cool.
