Thread: conditional clause searches

    Default conditional clause searches

What is the easiest way to search for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th class conditional clauses in the Greek?

Well... I don't think there is an easy way in BW. You could, of course, look for all the instances of ει, εαν, αν ... You could even try to use the Graphical search feature and try to locate Present or Future tenses in the apodosis, but this would still require some rather complicated searches and a bunch of sorting that would be a lot of work.
What you really need is some kind of syntactical analysis such as is provided with OpenText.org. What this also means is that Logos which does provide for syntax searches using the OpenText data will be more helpful for this type of work.
