Default linking pictures to text in scripture

how do you link a picture to a portion of text? Let's just say I'm reading Genesis 21:14 and want to link a picture of a wineskin to the word wineskin in verse 14 so that when I study this text at a later time I'll have a link or a picture that will pull up when I go to that particular word? Thanks

    Hi Chupe!

    Welcome to the BW forums!

In the chapter notes for Gen 21 (or verse notes if you use those), you can insert pictures using the icon that looks like a mountain scene (or by right clicking/insert). It says bit map, but I think you can insert JPEGs also.

    You can also insert links.

Does that accomplish what you want? If not check back here. Maybe there are some other ideas.

By saying chapter notes, are you referring to the notes tab where you make your personal notes or actual notes that already exist for the chapter?

The Notes tab where you make your own notes.

I'm not sure it matters, but which version of BibleWorks are you using?

Bibleworks 8. I want to link or even copy and paste a picture of a wineskin to illustrate the type of bottle the text is speaking of. This is a great way to bring in the picture of Christ in that an animal was sacrifice(typically a kid goat) to create the bottle. Also, wine was used in the curing process to stretch the skin to it's full potential. wine being a type of the Holy Spirit. It takes the Holy Spirit stretching us or growing us to our full potential. Then you have the water that was in the bottle, which would be a good example of the Living Water of Christ that fills our lives to sustain us. As you can see the illustration of the bottle can take off rather quickly which is why I would like to link or attach various things to the text. Can you give me some good pointers to accomplish this? Thanks
