Thanks, Glenn. I sent you an email.
I didn't add anything. I simply downloaded the ebook from Crossway and imported it into BW. It should work and display properly, but it doesn't. That's my point.
Why do I get this instead of a properly formatted TOC with the ebook "Interpreting the New Testament Text" from Crossway? Anybody else?

Exactly! Sorry if it wasn't clear.
Thank you, Jim. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I wasn't interested in entering Strong's numbers on the command line. Right-clicking and searching is what I had in mind. I, for one, would like...
Hi,
Could someone confirm whether BW9 (I haven't upgraded) allows one to search on Strong's numbers from the context menu without actually displaying the numbers? In BW8 this is not possible....
You may want to take a look at this thread: Bibles with Strong's Numbers and Word List Manager.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like we're going to see this functionality any time soon.
Gracias por compartir el archivo, amigo Ricardo.
I don't have a copy of BibleWorks in front of me now, but it my memory serves me right, it used to be possible to search for double brackets with the Graphical Search Engine (GSE). In fact you could...
Thank you, Glenn and Mike, for the update.
Best,
Thank you, Glenn. Do notice, however, that I did contact BibleWorks via email, and that at least Michael Tan is aware of this, since he suggested that I write directly rather than just opening a new...
I am bumping this thread in the hope that someone from BibleWorks will chime in. Is implementing this feature request at all feasible? It would be nice to know after over two years...
Thanks

The post includes a GSE query that you can download and tweak, if necessary.
Hope this helps.
As I promised to do, it is my pleasure to announce that a new review of BibleWorks 8 has been posted on my site. You are welcome to check it out and tell others about it, if you feel so inclined....
Yaku,
It would seem that case sensitivity does not work with NOT word boxes, but I will let the folks at BW answer that for sure.
The point of my GSE query is that since you require the use of...
Hi Yaku,
I think what you want is an OR search, one allowing "god*" and another one not allowing "God*". Please see the attached qf file and see if this is what you are after.
Also, notice that...
Great job. Thanks for fixing it!
Sure! I will announce it when it's ready. Thanks!
Yes, the iel file problem in the CL is still there. I have submitted screenshots and a step-by-step explanation on how to reproduce it (even with an English Win XP OS).
Thanks.
No, of course not! By "bad timing" I meant I'll have to wait and revisit this particular feature when it is working again (also, the fact that I spent a few hours on this, assuming I was doing...
Just to add more info: I use the Spanish keyboard layout for English, Greek, Hebrew and Spanish (in case it makes any difference), and am running a Spanish copy of Windows XP Pro SP3.
Thanks for checking. Very bad timing indeed, as I am right in the middle of writing a review of BW 8.
Using BW 8.0.015x.1 I am unable to use previously saved word lists in the Command Line (with BNM as my search version). I get the message "No Matches in Specified Range". Loading the same iel file in...
Sorry, please see the thread "Problem with Word Lists in Command Line". I meant to delete this post but did not find how to do it.
