When I tried to update through the help menu, I got nothing as an...
Ok thanks. I didn't see the update file after I executed the BW10.exe which has me at the base version. I'll have a look.
So then you're saying if I get a new pc that I will be at the base version which is not updatable? I thought I read all the latest updates were there but I'm not sure about that.
Where do you update? Is it in the iso files? Also, a root directory for BTW wasn't made. Can I make one to move all the files?
Since there are no longer active updates, is there a archive of the latest updates? I'm using 10.0.3.173. The latest I have on my old pc for BW is 10.0.8.667
Mine is checked there also. It never fails that if I manually do an update after loading BW9, even if the option is on and doesn't show updates avaiable, that I will get them if available.
Sorry I was too brief. I mean that you will get a window saying that new updates are available for download. You can check the option in the Options window of the updater. Using BW9 and all...
For some reason my updater is not updating automatically. I have it selected in the options window but I have to always do a manual update.
Thank you very much gentlmen. I have quite a few mods already but thanks for the offer. I could not find that path under the products tab so I'll thank you again for finding it for me.
Although BibleWorks already comes with the ESV, the massive amount of extra notes and resources in the Study Bible edition make it a must-have item! For only $20 all text, articles, images, and maps...
For some reason, I cannot remember how to changed the color of searched text result I used to be able to get result words/test that were red text and white background but with BW8 I am stymied. Why...
I found the duplicate (renamed) files and BW8 is no longer telling me that I have duplicate files. I think that I will leave well enough alone and use the latest version. Is there anything else...
I'm sorry guys but this sounds like a bit much to do when for any other new version all you have to do is load it in the updater. Why couldn't the new version be renamed as csb2? Still very...
Yes, and I cannot find where the .chm and the other files are to rename. What does it mean in the update instructions top update both the files and ID in the DBU file. Very confusing. Thanks for...
I can only find 6 of the 9 files to update and their is no further instructions about how to go about, let alone compiling the old db after it is renamed. Definatlely need help.
I knew from the BW7 Beta test that this was going to come up again. It was decided to allow the windows to be configurable due to the amout of people wanting that feature retained. It would be nice...
Hi Brian,
That's 1/2 of what I needed. Some of the menus have changed but that fixes the results/browse window problem. Is there any way to put the search window on the right and the...
It took me forever but I finally upgraded to BW8 from 7. I don't see anyway to change the screen layout the but haven't looked that deep yet. 7 was able to change the layout through the View pull...
I finally found out what his instructions meant by pressing shift+double clicking the start menu icon. He is referring to the icon in my start menu programs on the lower left. I would have said to...
Hi Michael,
I seem to have fixed it myself. It said that I couldn't create bwgrl point size 12. Instead of following the instructions about the error message in support section, I found a...
I can't understand the instructions for correcting the cannot create bwgkrl font points size 12 message. I am told to extract the fonts to the BW8 folder and then use the troubleshoot but the...
It is things like this that make Bibleworks the program with the best support of any program I own or have heard about. Nice going Mike!!
Hi Hegoheleth!
Sorry but there is no way to do that although you can turn the accent sensitive search off (defaut) if you turned that on but that is a different function.
Hi;
I would welcome an Aramaic Grammar as an addition to BW 6. An example of the one I used in seminary was, A Grammar of Biblical Aramaic by Franz Rosenthal, 1983, Fifth Edition, Otto...
Hi Mike;
You guys did a great job on this service! It would be nice if we could delete earlier messages from being viewed and I just found out that the TAB key doesn't work. The cursor goes...
