This is a very key ingredient in these suggestions IMHO.

Personally, I don't use the highlight/paste feature all that much. I prefer using the popup verse copy window. I leave it open off to the side and simply type in the verses I want to paste into NB....

I saved my old twot files on a backup drive. When I upgraded to my new machine last year, I used the latest ISO download from the BW site. I installed it, dropped the twot files into the database...

After you've confirmed a valid download, save it somewhere. That's what I did. I was glad I did when it came time to load it on my new machine.

If Mark's idea doesn't work, is it possible to unplug the keyboard from the PC and then back in. Depending on the keyboard, it might reset the internal memory. This would work on my keyboard.
