I think I know my way around BW fairly well, but I haven't found an easy way to do this. I'm currently teaching a Biblical Hebrew class, and trying to put together rough statistics and distributions. I'd like to be able to sort things in the word manager or elsewhere by a given characteristic, but I end up doing it manually.

For example, I want to know the relative distribution of pronominal suffixes on perfect verbs. I can run a search that finds all those verbs, and collect them and their morphology codes in the WTM. However, there's no command that says "Now sort/rank/evaluate these for the different suffixes" that would then show me something like this.

1cs- 298x
2ms- 137x

Instead, I end up running the same search multiple times with a different suffixes selected.

If the morphology sort command in the WTM can do this, can someone tell me how? Perhaps by selecting everything that meets the criterion and copying that into the second window?

If not, this is a feature I'd like to see in 7.0.
