Is the Apostolic fathers completed in Bibleworks?

And will the A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature, 3rd Edition [BDAG]
give me an English lexicon of the Apostolic Fathers just by moving the mouse over the Greek words?

Thanks, God bless.

Hello there Paul.
Is the Apostolic fathers completed in Bibleworks?Yes. The text of the Apostolic Fathers is complete, but the folks at BW are working on a new "morphological version."
And will . . . [BDAG] give me an English lexicon of the Apostolic Fathers just by moving the mouse over the Greek words? While all the words in the Apostolic Fathers should be covered in BDAG, BDAG is not yet tied to the Apostolic Fathers in BW because the morphological version is not yet complete. [A Greek or Hebrew text must have a morphological (parsed) version in order for the lexical form of each word to be recognized by the various dictionaries in BW]

That being said, a partial (incomplete) morphological version has been put together by Ricardo Roman and Richard Stauch. It is available on the web at Brian Beers' website (http://www.skrbc.org/bw_files/).

Be sure to check out the "Master List of BW Add-ons (http://www.bibleworks.com/forums/showpost.php?p=85)" for other databases that have been put together by BW users.

The same scholar who did the Josephus morphological database is also doing the official Apostolic Fathers morophological database for BW. From the lack of updates for Josephus recently it appears that he may be done with that and is working on the Fathers. If it will be ready for BW 7.0 the following note from the programmers would apply:

"All I can say is that it will NOT be ready for a Fall release. We are waiting on too many important databases to be finished by then. It is possible by the end of the year, but early to middle of next year is much more likely. People who buy 6.0 within 90 days of the release can get 7.0 for just the cost of shipping and handling, and any price difference between 6 and 7 (there may be a small price increase - the first ever). Outside the 90 day window upgrades will, as always, be very reasonable. "

Patience is a virtue. Grant us this, heavenly Father.
