Hi, does anybody know how I can look up Greek and Hebrew words from English? What I'm trying to do is to enter an English word and then see Greek translations

One way to do that is to search your English words in the NASB (NAU), which is tagged with the Strong's Concordance numbers. That system links each word to the Hebrew or Greek behind it. To do that, follow these steps:

On the command line, type NAU, which will display the NASB and make it your search version.
Then search for whatever you like (e.g.-- .word)
Then hover your cursor over any occurrence of the word that interests you, and you'll see the Hebrew or Greek and a short gloss definition.

Using Strong's in reverse (as Dale noted) is one way, but I tell my students to use Louw-Nida (for the Greek at least).

Open the Lexicon browser.
From the menu: Lexicons > Louw-Nida Lexicon (for Hebrew, choose one of the available ones)
From the menu: Edit > Search
In the window that opens, choose

Down direction
Search index
Top of file

Type the word you want in the Find What box
Click Find Next
Check the results and keep clicking next until you get what you want

The benefit of using Louw-Nida is that you will be better able to tell the nuances between Greek words, and all the related Greek words will be grouped in the same subdomain.
