If you're like me and you sometimes follow the blog,
Goddidn'tsaythat.com (not for the faint of heart, but very interesting) you may have noticed the following statement:

. I only use the laptop for three things: to connect to my main computer when I travel; for Bibleworks, which is an indispensable Bible research tool; and for Web-intensive applications, like WordPress. (link to the post) (http://goddidntsaythat.com/2012/05/09/im-back-for-a-bit/)

If, anyone else has found or has any interesting quotes about BibleWorks please post them to this thread.

Here is a quote from:
Stephen Barkley.ComReader, Writer, Pastor, Paddler

Iím about as happy as a kid on Christmas morning. When I popped home for lunch earlier this week, my wife hand me a shiny new copy of BibleWorks 9. If youíve never heard of it before, you might want to check out their website. I think itís the premiere resource for studying scripture in the original languages. Yet, another quote:

Although BibleWorks is not aimed at what I would call the ďpopular market,Ē one doesnít need to be proficient in original languages in order to use it. I have undertaken Hebrew and Greek classes in seminary and have, what I would consider, an introductory grasp on Biblical languages and I have NOT been lost or overwhelmed at all! In fact, the software can be used to improve oneís skills in this area. There is also an option to only use English versions if one chooses.

Professor of New Testament Studies, Grace College & Theological Seminary
Matthew S. Harmon states:

I have been an avid user of Bibleworks for the past 17 years (since version 3.0!). Over these past 17 years I have only grown more convinced that it is the premier exegetical software for studying Scripture.

Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Boyce College, Denny Burk says:

In reviews of previous versions of BibleWorks, I have mentioned that this software is a valuable resource for scholars, pastors, and other serious students of scripture. This latest iteration of BibleWorks is no different.

The opinion of Rod Decker in his reply to Jim Haliton's blog FOR HIS RENOWN

Yes, BibleWorks manages to pack in more ďbang for the buckĒ than any of the other 2 major programs, at the basic starting level of ca. $3-400, but once you start compiling a larger library the difference isnít as great. The interface, however, is one that only a programmer could love! http://jimhamilton.info/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif People who have the determination to learn that system can do some very complex searches, but itís rather intimidating to the average person (IMHO!).

Christian Book Notes October 28th, 2011 :

If you are truly wanting to plumb the depths of the Bible, I cannot recommend a resource more highly than I do BibleWorks. One wonders just how much more the Puritans would have been able to accomplish if they had this technology. That only begs the question then Ė what is holding you back from reading and studying the Word of God for all its worth? If you are looking for scholarly study of the Word of God, then BW9 ought to be your first stop. You donít even need to be fluent in Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek.

Randy A. Brown at the studies in Scriptures blog:

I can easily recommend BibleWorks 9. It is by far the best BibleWorks yet and provides features you canít get anywhere in any other program. If you want to really get deeper into Godís Word, BibleWorks 9 is a must-have tool. http://studiesinscripture.com/bibleworks-9-part-1/ (http://studiesinscripture.com/bibleworks-9-part-1/)
