I just discovered that Wordsearch has a module for BW of the HCSB Study Bible. I only recently saw a copy of that very study bible in print and was very impressed with it. Does anybody here have the Wordsearch module? If so, can you tell me if one can view it in the verse tab? Thanks much.

Yes, I have it. It is very good. We can not view it in the verse tab.

I agree with you. In fact, Wordsearch has some other modules available in Bibleworks. They are excellent tools also.

There was a link on the BibleWorks website that I clicked on a couple of days ago that linked to Wordsearch and showed a whole bunch of new modules that are now available for BibleWorks courtesy of Wordsearch. Some of them are really excellent. I'd love to get some of them. But they would be a whole lot more desirable to me if they were viewable on the Verse Tab. Surely it shouldn't be too hard to make that adjustment? At least, I wouldn't think.

All I know is that when I asked the programmers about this during beta-testing, they said it is possible for other commentary-format CHM files to be used in the Verse tab, but it would require programming on both the part of BibleWorks and WORDsearch to do it. I do know that since it would require extra formatting on WORDsearch's part, they're probably not interested unless there's enough of a demand for it.

LaRosa Johnson was the name of the guy that I've talked with, but I don't know if he's still with WORDsearch or not. I tried searching for him on Google and got a lot of dead links.

Agreed 100%. I have only purchased one of the WORDSearch resources for BW so far, but I will definitely be acquiring more if they become accessible via the Verse Tab.

That would be great! I have a lot invested in Logos resources even though i use BW for my exegetical work. It would be good to have some of the Wordsearch resources available in the verse tab. I won't be buying a lot more this year (March and I've already shot my budget!) but would certainly consider more if they were integrated into the program that way.

Hello, LaRosa and everyone else! I've been meaning to enable users to add CHMs to the Verse Tab. Most of the needed code is already there. I just need to finalize the last pieces. Basically, you'll have to add a text file that maps verse references to the right link in the CHM file. I'll let you all know when I have something for you to test!
