If I'm a current 6.0 user, is it possible for me to put the NKJ bible on my hand held Pocket PC? I'd love to be able to make at least one of the versions portable for me.

If you want to shell out a couple of bucks you can download the free olive-tree reader (www.olivetree.com) and get the nkjv for $16.00. They also have the KJV and RSV for free download (and the Gods Word translation as well).

This is an excellent reader, and I think you'll find it more usable than exporting the text of the KJV to a pocketWord doc (or something similar).

Just a thought...

You could also use the free pocket pc version of e-sword (http://www.e-sword.net/pocketpc/). I actually have this and the olive tree program installed (I wanted the NET Bible) and couldn't tell you which one I like better - they do things differently.

I've been using PalmBible+ (http://palmbibleplus.sourceforge.net/index.htm) on my Tungsten T3 for the last few months.

I wish I had not already purchased Laridian's My Bible & Olive Tree's BibleReader! PalmBible+ is free and continually improving!

Not to mention, some folks have put together java scripts that allow one to convert BibleWorks files (http://palmbibleplus.sourceforge.net/createbible.htm) into PalmBible+ files!

Currently, English versions of Josephus, Philo and the Apostolic Fathers are available in PalmBible+ as well.

But olive-tree IS a free reader (with many free Bibles), and it's always improving; just to let you know.

I'm sorry, I forgot that OliveTree is a free reader. But it does cost a penny or two for the tagged Greek text!--and understandably! Anyway, as far as free programs go, I have been very impressed with PalmBible+!

By the way, I forgot. This thread is probably best moved to the "Non-BibleWorks" discussion. See the following thread: http://www.bibleworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=238
