View Full Version : Repetition of a Lemma

I'm hoping this'll be a simple question for some of you:

I would like to search WTM for all the verses in which a single lemma occurs twice in a row.

Then, I would like to do the same search, but include results in which only a conjunction or a preposition separates the two occurrences.

(Cf. JoŁon-Muraoka p.468)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You may wish to look under the command line in the "Tools" dropdown list at the "Command line examples." They will help you figure out how to do searches similar to this.
In this case with WTM as the search version your first search is quite simple:
'#1 #1
In the other cases use:
'#1 *@P[sco]* #1
The latter should find all instances (at least in Hebrew, not Aramaic) in which a lemma repeats with only a waw or a preposition intervening.
The second list will not contain any instances from the first. So, if you want both together, you would have to load the first into the verse list manager as the main verse list. Then make the second search, add it to the verse list manager as a secondary verse list. And then use the VLM to combine them into one list.
