Chinese Input Issue in BW7

Hi, Is there anyone having problem typing Chinese in the search command line of BW7? I am now using the Google Chinese input, and I can input Chinese only in the User Notes panel but not in the search panel command line.
The Chinese character selection window seems inactive for the search command line. Is this normal? I am getting around the search problem by typing the phrase I am looking for in the user notes panel and right click to search BW for the selected text.

Yes, it is normal. BibleWorks can display Unicode fonts, but the command line does not search on Unicode characters. Internally BibleWorks 7 (and 8) does not use Unicode. I don't know how BW converts Chinese to non-Unicode charcters internally, so that it searches for them. I am just glad that it does. But I have never been able to type Chinese characters on the commande line.

You have found the only way to work around this short-coming, as far as I am aware.
