Since no one else replied, let me try this partial answer. Does Windows 2000 support Unicode fonts? If so, the Chinese versions in BibleWorks 7 will work. If not, I can't answer your question.

I'm not sure what you're asking. If you are simply looking for a chinese bible that can be used in the win2000 platform there are many places you may download this from. Try this link for one such offering:

Otherwise, if you are looking to use the chinese version in your Bibleworks 7, then you shall probably need to download the language package from microsoft (unlike windows XP, 2000 doesn't come with this already installed). You should be able to find this on the microsoft downloads website, or alternately, when you go to a chinese website which requires this package a small window may appear asking if you want to download this package in order to view the site.

Yes. I would like to view the Chinese Bible in BW7.0. However, my window version is in Win2000.

CUVX5 works great on my Chinese windows xp,
but it still did not work on Chinese windows 2000 after several attempts
I installed the font and on Chinese windows 2000 off course I have Chinese IME and Chinese big5 language support, but still could not make bw7 display CUVX5 on windows 2000.
can anybody help? or should I try to install CUV5 instead?
by the way, I already contacted windows customer service to ask about far-eastern language support on windows 2000,
but their answer was not helpful: they suggest I add the language I want windows 2000 to support, but my Chinese windows 2000 already supports Chinese.

CU5X and CUSX versions were developed for Windows XP. CUS and CU5 were developed for Windows Vista. They were never intended to work with Windows 2000. So, speaking as a non-programmer, I assume that there are some aspects of the XP and Vista codes which are necessary for BW7 to use in support of Chinese. Part of the problem is support of Unicode fonts instead of TrueType fonts. I suspect that you will not get any of these versions of the CUV Bible to work with Windows 2000. But I know for sure that the Vista versions (CUS and CU5) will not work with earlier versions of Windows.

Windows 2000 is already offering unicode support, and you should be also able to install Chinese language support normally included in all Window versions from Window 2000 up (Control Panel/Language and Regional Settings). Arial Unicode font is included and displays Chinese characters (both simplified and traditional) nicely.
