I was wondering if anyone has this issue. Upon updating to the new Bible Works map update (7.018i), If I bring up the misc. overlays, the very last one in the list (Key Location sites and Genesis) I get a bunch of cities listed out in the middle of the Great Sea.

I think the map updates are separate from the BW updates. My maps version is 1.00.001z. In any case, that Misc. Overlays does show up with a bunch of cities in the Great Sea. Looks to be a practice file or something...

Thanks for your reply.

My maps are 1.00.003a. The reference in my original post was from the update patch file and that was the number beside Bible Works maps.

I enjoyed being in Gettysburg this past summer with my son. We had a great time visiting the battlefield. We spent a week in the area so he would be ready for a Civil War class that he is currently taking.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but I did want to comment on the latest BW7 classroom tips (http://www.bibleworks.com/classroom/1_9/index.html) that featured info on the maps module. It is really helpful and worth reading. I posted additional comments on my blog (http://bibleandtech.blogspot.com/2007/12/bibleworks-classroom-tip-19.html).

I'm fairly new to heavy Theological study and a Minister at Seminary introduced me to BibleWorks 5 a few weeks ago. I decided to take the plunge and buy 7 for my own Seminary path and learning.

Maps were a great portion of my previous job with the US Army so seeing these map tools versus what's in Pradis are amazing. I look forward to getting my CD-Rom's in the mail so I can install them.
