View Full Version : Syriac Resources and BW7

I've just added a rather long post about Syriac Resources (http://bibleandtech.blogspot.com/2007/09/syriac-tools-and-resources.html) for biblical studies on my blog, and I include some comments about Syriac resources in BW7. What may be of interest to BW7 users are links to some items that are not included in BW7 such as the Peshitta OT texts and a lexicon. Perhaps it may help...

Thanks, Mark. Your article was very interesting. In particular, there is a wealth of resources in the Internet Archive which I wasn't aware of. I would really like to see databases of the Peshitta Tanakh, and the Curetonian and Sinaiticus Syriac MSS in BW, and preferably all morphologically tagged. Jan Magiera's Aramaic NT Database in BW7 is superb, and I have learned an immense amount from it.
