Abnormal termination

As of June 15, 2018 BibleWorks ceased operation as a provider of Bible software tools. The old BibleWorks web site, activation server and forum are gone. This new forum is intended to provide a way for the thousands of people still using BibleWorks to communicate with one another. Click on "General BibleWorks Discussion" above to view messages.Or you can jump directly to two topics of general interest to everyone:

Welcome to the New BibleWorks Forum
How to Activate a New Installation of BibleWorks 8,9 or 10.

To post to this forum you must register your account. After you register and accept the TERMS OF USE, you will be sent an e-mail. You must respond to this e-mail and be activated by an administrator before you can post. This is necessary to limit the use of this forum for spam.

We get a LOT of forum registrations that we cannot activate because we got no response to the confirmation e-mail that was sent. A few are returned as undeliverable and we assume that they are spammers. We have no way of knowing if the other confirmation e-mails were even received. If you registered and never received the confirmation e-mail, you can send a message to forum@biblework.com. But check your spam folder first. Of course you are free to browse messages without registering. You just can't post to the forum or respond to messages.

I cannot get my BW10 to reinstall on my Windows 11 computer. Here's what I have done.
1. I successfully applied for my new re-install key or program using my original code. I received the code.
2. I used my original BW10 flash drive to copy 19 files to a NEWBW folder on my PC desktop. They were successfully copied.
3. Then I tried to copy my new reinstall code to that NEWBW folder. I could not do that. I cannot add anything to the NEWBW folder. I could not even open a space to insert the code at all! I thought it might be Microsoft's new app checker which checks a new app for its source to see if its legit. Of course the new re-install file would not allow pass that muster. I tried to turn it off on Windows11. I am not sure that was successful.
4. So I am nowhere, no BW10. A month or two ago a hacker wiped all my hard drives clear of Windows 11 and all files. I had to paid $250 just to get Staples to reinstall my Windows11 program. I have not had biblical access whatsoever. I have the original installation disks for Logos Verbum. Maybe I should try that.

You cannot just copy files from the USB drive. You have uninstall thw current version if there is one. Then run the setup program on the USB drive, Then follow the direction sent to you with the link to the activation e-mail
