confirmation code needed

As of June 15, 2018 BibleWorks ceased operation as a provider of Bible software tools. The old BibleWorks web site, activation server and forum are gone. This new forum is intended to provide a way for the thousands of people still using BibleWorks to communicate with one another. Click on "General BibleWorks Discussion" above to view messages.Or you can jump directly to two topics of general interest to everyone:

Welcome to the New BibleWorks Forum
How to Activate a New Installation of BibleWorks 8,9 or 10.

To post to this forum you must register your account. After you register and accept the TERMS OF USE, you will be sent an e-mail. You must respond to this e-mail and be activated by an administrator before you can post. This is necessary to limit the use of this forum for spam.

We get a LOT of forum registrations that we cannot activate because we got no response to the confirmation e-mail that was sent. A few are returned as undeliverable and we assume that they are spammers. We have no way of knowing if the other confirmation e-mails were even received. If you registered and never received the confirmation e-mail, you can send a message to forum@biblework.com. But check your spam folder first. Of course you are free to browse messages without registering. You just can't post to the forum or respond to messages.

confirmation code needed

Post by LinneaBoese »

I am moving BibleWorks 10 to a new computer, and am blocked when I am required to enter a "confirmation code." How can that be found? What can I do if it was on the original disc which is no longer available to me?

This is resolved. Follow up: if the system is asking you to activate via internet or activate manually, then you are on the un-modified exectuable still and need to follow the instructions listed here: Activating BibleWorks 8, 9 or 10

If you already have the zip file from following that process, and you're still being asked to activate by internet or manually, then the executables in that file were not properly copied into the Bibleworks folder. Do it again.

The confirmation code is part of the "activate manually" process, which is now defunct. If all instructions were followed properly, the system will instead ask you for the email you used to request the reactivation and the serial number of your product.
