Welcome to the New BibleWorks Forum

As of June 15, 2018 BibleWorks ceased operation as a provider of Bible software tools. The old BibleWorks web site, activation server and forum are gone. This new forum is intended to provide a way for the thousands of people still using BibleWorks to communicate with one another. Click on "General BibleWorks Discussion" above to view messages.Or you can jump directly to two topics of general interest to everyone:

Welcome to the New BibleWorks Forum
How to Activate a New Installation of BibleWorks 8,9 or 10.

To post to this forum you must register your account. After you register and accept the TERMS OF USE, you will be sent an e-mail. You must respond to this e-mail and be activated by an administrator before you can post. This is necessary to limit the use of this forum for spam.

We get a LOT of forum registrations that we cannot activate because we got no response to the confirmation e-mail that was sent. A few are returned as undeliverable and we assume that they are spammers. We have no way of knowing if the other confirmation e-mails were even received. If you registered and never received the confirmation e-mail, you can send a message to forum@biblework.com. But check your spam folder first. Of course you are free to browse messages without registering. You just can't post to the forum or respond to messages.

Welcome to the New BibleWorks Forum

Post by admin » Tue Feb 10, 2026 9:05 pm
Although BibleWorks is no longer available commercially, there are still thousands of people who still use the program every day. I did not want to leave them completely high and dry, not even able to communicate with other BibleWorks users. Hence this forum. Please understand that I cannot provide support for people with general questions about BibleWorks use. There is no staff. It is just me. This forum is not moderated, though I will check periodically to make sure it is not being misused. I am also open to qualified users who want to become moderators, depending on how many people wind up on this forum. Keep in mind that there is still an extensive library of YouTube videos available at

https://www.youtube.com/@BibleWorksVideos/videos

Thanks again to those of you who supported BibleWorks for a quarter of a century and who still use the program. It is still the best.

God bless,
Mike

Hi Mike
I believe that I can speak for most, if not all, BibleWorks users and say that we thank you for what you have done now in your retirement years to keep this valuable tool available. I am 78 years old and have been teaching the Bible for 50 years. I taught Hebrew for about 9 years and now still teach online part-time for a seminary in Mexican and still need BibleWorks for my notes and PowerPoints I send to students. New Bible programs are very expensive and I am not sure the ones I have tried to check on can do the job like THE ONE that you designed.
I pray God's great blessing on you and know that there will be rewards in heaven for you!

Hello
Thank you for this.
I bought Bibleworks about 15 years ago and then bought upgrades through to BW10.
I use it several days a week and it is the best source for the NA27 text and the Rahlfs LXX text.
I would be stuck without it.
Some occasional problems with it now, but it is still working.
The Lord bless you!
In Christ

It IS still the best. I use it every day pretty much. I am so grateful to God for this program. The work to link to Matthew Henry, Link all quotations in the entire church fathers to verses, link verse-by-verse to the Vaticanus, Sinaiticus fascimiles; to have BAGD, Lidell-Scott, lexicons, grammars, textual support apparatus...in a single interface!! BW10 is working wonderfully with Win11 and touch screens. I REALLY WISH IT COULD BE OFFERED FOR SALE AS-IS. I think every Bible translator, scholar, missionary, preacher, and anyone who really wants to "focus on the text" should be able to get this program if they want. Pay the royalties to the various publishers of course. I actually feel sad that the program is not available to new users. I feel it's like a masterpiece locked away in a closet. Or like a well of water with a huge stone on the top. The program has a few bugs here and there but it is stable. I'd like to see somebody pick up the copyright and get it out there! Why let the scammers who do bootleg copies be the only ones distributing?

Well that's my two cents worth. To God be honor and glory, power and majesty, for ever and ever. (With or without BibleWorks).

If licensing is preventing Bibleworks from being distributed, may I suggest that a freeware version of Bibleworks be released without the copyrighted material. Since BW10 was released, there are a lot more Biblical texts available for free distribution.
