What do you mean reinitialize?
I recommend checking for a corrupted disk, free disk space.
Back up any files you have created.
Backup and delete the bw1000.ini file in the BW folder.
If that doesn't help, uninstall BW, delete the BW folder, reboot, then reinstall.

Try starting BW first and then Wors. Then reverse that. Does it matter which is started first?
Do you have any keyboard mapping software installed?
Go into Tools|Options|Startup and uncheck "mouse Hooks. Clixk OK. Then reatart BW.
Delete the BW1000.ini file and see if that makes a difference.

Please read the instructions that came with the executable replacements. I believe they point out that if modules are missing you probably did not enter all the codes when you installed BibleWorks on the new computer. You can run the original setup program on the installation media to add the codes ...
