I want to be able to search for words beginning a verse. I can do this in Graphical Search Engine by selecting "Specify position in verse" and entering "1". Can this be done from the command line? It would make generating these searches faster.

There is another place where copy from Browse Window options are set, and I don't know how they interact with the options on the Copy drop down in the search window.
Go to Main Menu (top of BW window) / Tools / Options ... / Output Format Options / Selected ...

About Browse Window Shortcuts
The key that you used while focus was on the Browse window was "e" which you can use to "Toggle highlighting of same-language text differences".
I would suggest that: Main Menu (top of BW window) Help / BibleWorks Help Contents / at the bottom of Frequently Used Links Shortcuts is very helpful ...

Here is a suggestion; it looks like you might not be saving your INI file when you exit BW.
In the menu list at the top of the BW window, click on Tools / Options... / General / Flags / Shutdown Options.
If "Save setup options on exit" is not checked, click on it.
