    Question BW Crash

I'm running BW 6.0.012a on Windows ME (I know, I need to get rid of ME), but when I click on the wrench tool for the options dialog, then click on Fonts, BW crashes on me.

    Scott,

    See the related FAQ here:

The Fonts tab does require loading those list boxes with every font name on your system. If you're system is low on resources or if you have an exceedingly large number of fonts installed that could cause the problem. Try freeing up more of your system's resources. http://www.noccc.org/bytes/articles/v01/610.html

If you have a large number of fonts installed (more than 600) you can also try uninstalling 2 or 3 hundred. That will make the fonts tab less demanding on your system resources and perhaps eliminate the problem. See the following Microsoft support articles.

Thanks, Charlie. I read the faqs and this led me to examine my Startup programs, which, when having removed several of these, cleared up the problem.
