Default Dynamic New Help Feature Is Here!

BibleWorks has recently acquired Clippy®, the Office Assistant, that was featured in versions 97 to 2003 of Microsoft Office®. We are pleased to integrate this technology into the BibleWorks help system of context sensitive help using the F1 key and the How-To Videos available through the Help menu.

Exclusively for BibleWorks, Clippy® has become a new, friendly and helpful character named Scrollie®. Scrollie® will popup just when you need him to assist you in your study process using BibleWorks.

    Here's a first look at Scrollie®:

Missed the "April Fools" aspect because, due to the time differences between Australia and the USA, it was listed as being posted on April 2, at 1:23AM.

That is all right, however, because I always turned Microsoft's helper "off". Very annoying thing it was.

My heart did sink a bit when I saw the headline that BW had purchased it. Glad it was only a prank.

Of course, in relation to April Fools Day, Proverbs 26:18-19 comes to mind:

Like a madman shooting firebrands or deadly arrows is a man who deceives his neighbour and says, "I was only joking!"

Great response; and I too got it "out of season," since I was in Singapore at the time.
