Hi Folks:
I was just wondering when the new NA 28 might become available as an update or purchasable module....
Thanks,
Matthew

Good question.
We have just signed a contract with the GBS for the NA28 and should be able to distribute it soon. We still have to receive the files and there are some logistical problems to work out but it should not be long.

That is good news! Thanks for the info, Mike.

It could get weary to use the NA from 28 on without the apparatus since the square brackets - concerning only catholic letters so far - for the difficult variants are gone. Instead of that the catholic letters now have a new critical sign - a square - which shows an equal variant to the text. That means that the NA is not anymore only a critical text for scholars with mainly minor variants but also with major variants which means you should only use the text combined with the apparatus from 28 on even though you are not a text critic.
For BW that means bringing only the printed text from NA28 to BW would ruin especially the catholic letters. Its rather counterproductive if you get the new text only because in the old you had at least the square brackets in the catholic letters.
Due to the fact that the whole NA will undergo that treatment within the next years it can only be a useful collaboration with GBS if you get the text with the apparatus. If that won´t come to pass I can not see the usefulness of having NA in BW ---> CNTTS ;).
Blessings for your work,
Steffen
