Default Automatically displaying the text of a list of verses?

A friend of mine would like to easily get a print out of all the verses listed in this entry from Nave's Topical Bible. I'm wondering if anyone's found a quick way to do so using BW...

Can you use the Verse List Manager for this? I am not sure on how picky it is about the format of the import, but you save the verses as a plain text file and then import them into the VLM so that you can export them with text.

It requires some experimentation to see how this would work since it's not something I normally use, but I think that would be the way you would do it.

I was thinking that might be the way to go...

The only other solution I can think of would be to pretend it's an HTML Help project and use the BW applet to tag the texts for you.

Another "duh" thought.... You can get a listing of verses for Nave's via the X-Refs tab. Is that a satisfactory solution?

    Default Using X-Refs

Just to fill out Mike's suggestion of using the X-Refs tab...

    • You need to be at a verse where the topic you want is included. In the example at hand, "ANGER," one verse (it doesn't have to be the first) is Gen 4:6.
    • Click on the X-Refs tab.
    • Choose Nave's as the cross-reference list you want
    • Then...
      • If you only want to collect some of the verses, you can use CTRL-click to pick the ones you want > then right-click in that Nave's window, and you will have the option of "Copy selected items to clipboard"
      • If you want all the references, right-click in that Nave's window, and you will have the option of "Copy all to clipboard"

    • Paste it into a word processor!
