Question create a Middle East overlay

    Hello friends,
is there anybody who had create a BW9 maps module "borders and water Middle East today"?
Because the situation in Middle East and North Africa comes more and more conflictual I want to know "who is who?" i.e. Who is the biblical Ammon today?

Or can anybody tell me a website (possible in german language) where I can download such a map ?
    God bless you,
    Peter

Not overlays, but possible maps for you, in fairly high resolution:

Perhaps you could use one of these with the Bible Works maps module or one of the Moody Bible Atlas maps in BW9.

    Default Another option

Another option is to download/install the free Bible Geocoding module for BW. (Download it from HERE.) When any place is named in a verse it will show up in the Resources sub-tab. Clicking will open the HTML Help window. From there you can get to Google maps, and enable the modern labels. Here, for example, is Ammon (modern Amman, Jordan) using Google maps terrain view with labels.

BW has had what you want for a long time. If you open the BibleWorks Maps module, look in the Overlays/Stacking order window and click "Borders and water overlays." Three of them are "Africa/Middle East/Turkey modern political boundaries..." "Asia modern boundaries..." and Europe modern boundaries..." These do not show roads, like the Google maps, but they do show all the modern legally recognized borders of all the countries in lands mentioned in the Bible.
If you want it in German, you can always edit the names of the sites on these overlays and replace the English names with German ones. It would take a few hours. But it is doable.
