The Holiday of Sukkot (Tabernacles)
Shalom and Chag Sameach!
The more I study the Jewish roots of the faith (as well as Hebrew, of course), the more I am convinced of the value (exegetical as well as spiritual) of being attuned to the divine calendar as observed by the Jewish people.
In light of this, I have been updating the Hebrew for Christians web site regarding the Jewish Fall Holidays....
And since Sukkot begins on September 29th (at sundown), I recently wrote a brief article about this festival so that you might enjoy learning about it as it is occuring. I hope this article will prove both timely and edifying for you.
Shalom and blessings to you,
John J. Parsons (Mpls., MN)
