Gospel Parallels in BW8?

I do not often teach NT, but did this semester---in fact I am writing this as I proctor my final exam. Is there a Gospel Parallel mode built into BW8 or would one have to create her/his own?

You can create your own but there are a few already in there. In the menu go to Tools|Viewing the Text|Synopsis Window. In the Synopsis Window, File|Open will open the synopsis info. Aland is a synopsis of English versions of the Aland Synopsis and Aland (Greek) is the Greek version. Off the top of my head I can't remember what the gospels and gospels2 synopses correspond to. I believe they were both user contributions from long ago.
