Confirm Database Error

Hey all, the last part of my NET Bible note at Isaiah 6:13 looks rather garbled and off. Before I report that as a database error, I would be grateful if any could confirm my findings. Is it a legitimate database error or is it just me (my system)? Grateful for any feedback.

I did not find this to be the case, the NET Notes for Isaiah 6:13 read as follows: (the jumbled letter here are Hebrew that did not make the copy and paste job that I did)

18 )tn The Hebrew text has "which in the felling, a sacred pillar in them." Some take tb,C,m; (matsevet) as "stump," and translate, "which, when chopped down, have a stump remaining in them." But elsewhere tb,C,m; refers to a memorial pillar (2 Sam 18:18) and the word resembles hb'C,m; (matsevah, "sacred pillar"). ~B' (bam, "in them") may be a corruption of hm'B' (bamah, "high place"; the Qumran scroll 1QIsa(a )has hmb). rv,a</H> ('<I>ASHER</I>, "WHICH") BECOMES A PROBLEM IN THIS CASE, BUT ONE MIGHT EMEND THE FORM TO <H>HR'VEA<RBR>K.W</H> (<I>UK®</I>'<I>ASHERAH</I>, "OR LIKE AN ASHERAH POLE") AND TRANSLATE, "LIKE ONE OF THE LARGE SACRED TREES OR AN ASHERAH POLE." THOUGH THE TEXT IS DIFFICULT, THE REFERENCES TO SACRED TREES AND A SACRED PILLAR SUGGEST THAT THE DESTRUCTION OF A HIGH PLACE IS IN VIEW, AN APT METAPHOR FOR THE JUDGMENT OF IDOLATROUS JUDAH. <P><SUP>19</SUP> <B>TN</B> <I>HEB </I>"A HOLY OFFSPRING <LBR>IS<RBR> ITS SACRED PILLAR." IF <H>TB,C,M;</H> (<I>MATSEVET</I>) IS TAKEN AS "STUMP," ONE CAN SEE IN THIS STATEMENT A BRIEF GLIMPSE OF HOPE. IRONICALLY THAT "HOLY" NATION IS MORE LIKE A "SACRED PILLAR" AND IT WILL BE THROWN DOWN LIKE A SACRED PILLAR FROM A HIGH PLACE AND ITS LAND DESTROYED LIKE THE SACRED TREES LOCATED AT SUCH SHRINES. UNDERSTOOD IN THIS WAY, THE IRONIC STATEMENT IS ENTIRELY NEGATIVE IN TONE, JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE PRECEDING ANNOUNCEMENT OF JUDGMENT. IT ALSO REMINDS THE PEOPLE OF THEIR FAILURE; THEY DID NOT OPPOSE PAGAN RELIGION, INSTEAD THEY EMBRACED IT. NOW THEY WILL BE DESTROYED IN THE SAME WAY THEY SHOULD HAVE DESTROYED PAGANISM.

Yes, I too get some markup stuff showing in Isaiah 6:13.
Whenever the notes in BW are garbled I go to the copy of NET that I downloaded from bible.org.
That has the advantage of including the notes in any search.

I'd like to see your interpretation of the BW NET note for Job 3:14.

Thanks Jim. Just as I suspected. Following your lead, I went to the Online NET Bible site and sure enough, the BibleWorks entry at Isaiah 6:13 is garbled. So is Job 3:14, by the way!

To be honest, when I first looked up the Isaiah verse I just thought it was a phrase in Hebrew, I didn't look at it close enough but wow, that Job verse notes is all garbled.
