I installed programs on my wife's netbook over the wireless network in our home. I used my desktop computer and allowed the CD/DVD drive to be shared. That made it visible to the netbook and then just installed from there.

That's actually kind of cool and innovative. I assume you just have to tell your desktop to share? I haven't looked into that. Is there anything special to know?Originally Posted by MGVH
