    Default Resources for ERMIE

I don't know if anyone is aware of the wonderful resources that can be downloaded for free at the Internet Archive http://www.archive.org

The Archive is scanning the library of Princeton Theological Seminary and many great commentaries and reference works are available for download and dozens of titles are appearing every day. I place them in a folder and then connect them to BibleWorks in my ERMIE. This goes a long way of rectifying the lack of commentaries.

I would like to know HOW you find the "library of Princeton Theological Seminary and many great commentaries and reference works are available for download".

Is there a way to search for these titles??

How did you put them in a folder, and connect them???

    Default Resources for ERMIE

    1. Go to: http://www.archive.org/details/Princeton

    2. Search for authors or titles

    3. Download the PDF for the titles selected to a folder

    4. To open Ermie and add a resource stored on your computer to it, go to Resources on the main menu in BibleWorks and then click Ermie (External Resources Manager). The organizational tree on the left side of the catalog contains a number of topical folders. Choose the appropriate folder topic for the resource that you wish to add to Ermie and then click the Add button in the lower left corner of Ermie. In the Add item window type a descriptive Name of new item to create: and enter the complete Path for a document on your computer or the URL address for a website in the field marked Path/URL:. Click the Create Item button and then Done.

When the resource has been added to the viewer catalog simply double click on the item and it will be displayed in the lower portion of Ermie. To view a larger portion of the resource in Ermie, click on Hide catalog. For more information on using Ermie to view resources outside BibleWorks see the help file.

    Default ERNIE master list

    Hi all

Can I suggest: what about turning this thread into a ERMIE-master list?

A list of good books to share with other users.
