    1. Thanks for the reminder that I still never got that blog post done.

    2. What is the main difference between this release vs. the 5/29 one?

    1) This release include the full Bible: Old and New Testament;

    2) 5/29 release have The Tweedale Clementine Vulgate as "base text", and only van Ess's "collationes sixtine"
    10/21 release have as base text the "original" "Clementine Vulgate 1592" (included the punctuation and orthography).
    Furthermore I have compared the New Testament's "collationes sixtine" from Nestle and Wordsworth works.

    Tweedale Clementine Vulgate is a vulgate text, based on 1592, 1593, 1598, and Correctoria Romana, as Hetzenauer "1914", Vercellone "1861" and Colunga-Turrado "1946" Vulgate (it isn't a good base text for Sixtine 1590 vulgate).

    The difference is that this latest edition of VUS contains the Old Testament as well as the New Testament.
    There is a compiling error. 2Co 1:24 is listed as part of 2Co 1:23. It needs to be made a separate line in Pasquale's vus.txt file and then be recompiled.
    Separately I'm sending Pasquale a corrected vus.vmf file which should be replace that file in Pasquale's upload.
